We cater for both novice and experienced riders at Callatra Stables , our lessons are designed to allow each rider to get the most out of each session and reach their individual goal . We accept riders from 5 years of age and up.

Trekking
Our location close to the Kylebrack forest and the Slieve Bloom mountains gives both horse and rider the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature for hours at a time. Depending on your level of riding we can plan a trail to suit your needs which will allow you to have fun and relax.
Group rate €25 per hour/per rider
Schooling /Training
The development and training of young horses is something we take great interest in at Callatra Stables. Our knowledge and experience of many different aspects and disciplines within the equestrian world allows us to cater for all different horses, giving them the best possible start to their future careers.
We also provide a schooling service for older ponies and horses, if you are having a particular problem or would just like to improve your horses way of going , we would gladly like to help.

Special Services
For children with special needs we offer private and individualised riding programs that will allow the child to learn and have fun in a safe and caring environment. Spending time with the horses and riding can help improve a child's concertation, learning skills, balance and coordination. For more information on this service please get in contact with us .
